45–60 ml (1.5–2 oz) Flamingo's Vodka (start with 45 ml if you want it lighter; your high-proof spirit will give it nice kick)
150–200 ml lemonade or lemon-lime soda (e.g., Sprite, 7-Up, or a crisp Australian lemonade for that local twist)
15–30 ml (0.5–1 oz) grenadine (for the signature red "fire engine" layer and sweetness—adjust for color intensity)
Ice cubes (plenty, to keep it chilled and refreshing)
Optional garnish: Lime wedge, cherry, or a splash of orange juice for extra fruitiness
Instructions:
Fill a highball glass with ice cubes.
Pour in the Flamingo's Vodka.
Top with lemonade/lemon-lime soda, leaving some room.
Slowly pour the grenadine over the back of a spoon (or directly) so it sinks and creates a cool layered/red gradient effect at the bottom—stir gently if you want it mixed, or leave layered for visual flair.
Garnish with a lime wedge or cherry on the rim.
Serve with a straw—stir as you drink to blend the flavors.
